I do like the frame, cranks, 3T cockpit and a couple more parts, but I am not a fan of a couple others. Frankly I wouldn't want them on my bike and I would have to search for same condition alternatives, what would increase the spending. Originality would suffer, what is a pity in this case, and probably it is simply not the right bike for me.
 
Indeed. As you well know it's only an A Frame and a lowly spec but still an all round good bike and is NOS. I'd have to keep it original and appreciate it for what it is.

Although I think £550 is reasonable obviously I'd want it for less, wonder what his reserve is?

'only' an A frame is already very nice imo. Same ride as an AA and more versatile for all seasons. Of course a Roto shell as with the AA would have been nice, but you can't have it all.
