Any help identifying this frame...?

Getting a powder coat soon and I'd really love to work out what the frick this frame was before it was painted so I can try and track some decals!

anyone get any clues? put this on a number of the sites now and no one seems to have any ideas? a friend of mine who knows more than I do said there might be a clue in the text that denotes the frame angles (see pictures)

Thanks!

Nick

its always strange how some lugs have there angles stamped and some dont !

no idea re i d of frame are there no frame numbers to help ?

Lugs look like haden Concorde or similar, the little traingle brazed to the frame is a nice touch to stop the downtube shifters moving down the tube........sort of points to late 70's early 80's maybe as by then the downtube shifters were brazed on this sort of frame ...

Before that lugs (even on cheap frames) tended to be a bit nore ornate.

Problem is that there were so many manufacturers turning them out you might not get to the bottom of who made it.
