I Can't tighten up the non drive side of my external BB as the tool I have is a complete circular shape and won't fit around the bb due to the shape of the chain stay on the non drive side

As Max said, Martin at City Cycles in Chichester is the only person i'd take my bike to if i couldn't do it myself! As for Blazing Saddles they're good but a little too expensive.
As for geared in Chi i would never go back to him! If you're not riding a Trek or Lapiere then he'll stick his nose up at you. He isn't cheap either

there's also *shudder* a new SouthDownsBikes opening in Goring, I noticed it on the way home tonight..
Offington lane isn't too far away, Monkeeee. Not sure how busy I'm going to be over the weekend as it's her birthday tomorrow, might be able to do something either Friday afternoon (after 3 or 4-ish) or Sunday..depends on how badly you'd like help

That's the trouble with most bike shops they like their preferred brands and if ever you go in there with a problem or question they just turn their noses up and try and sell you what they stock.
