Just about to leave work, might need to prep bike up there as time is running out, need to change tyres, oil chain and adjust brake levers. Should manage that at the bunkhouse.

Trip to LBS tomorrow to buy magic socks and maybe magic gloves.

Today I have been reliably informed the river crossing is a bee-atch after heavy rain

Detour upstream and back on other side is a possibility. My lights hold approx 80 mins charge......so will bring spares
