Retrotastic!

Very, very nice and thoroughly practical too.

The attention to detail in the photos is stunning - you've even managed to source some autumnal leaves the exact correct shade and scatter them naturally on the ground - brilliant!!

Seriously though, for me this has a wow factor that beats even the Colnago photos we see every week, which are nice but a bit samey, let's be honest.

Very nice, i like the matching colour tones expecially. And I too have always liked the look of the Kaffenback

I'd never heard of Kaffenback until I saw this. Just when I thought I had enough projects to be going on with - aaagh! That's a lovely bike. I like the rear stay design, looks great.

So how are the brakes?

Rear monostay design seems Dekerf syle :)

The brakes are fine. I originally ran it with V-brakes and specialist drop bar V-brake levers by Tektro. This didn't work out too well (felt squidgy) so I swapped for regular cantilivers and standard drop bar levers. A bit more stopping power than regular road calipers. I'm glad they designed them for canti's cos I want to do some touring on it in Ireland, Scotland, Norway and Iceland in future years.
