Just had my Koga Miyata Proracer S repainted and I'm rather pleased with the result.

Just waiting for my new headtube badge to show but I think it's done for the moment

Not a pure retro as It's running Dura Ace 7700 gearing and brakes, Cane Creek levers with ahead forks and stem

I can fully understand you're happy it. It looks great and it will for sure be an excellent performing bike.

Tiny detail: you're aware the tubing decal isn't the right one for your frame?

Thanks for the nicwe words and yes I am aware it's the wrong one it should be one of the FM-1 ones as below but I missed this set on ebay. It's the only decal that isn't under the lacquer.

Are the shifters indexing 9speeds ? cheers Ian

No they are just friction shifters as they mount on a central mount rather than either side of the tube which limits your options.

I could probably get 9 speed to work but the friction shifters look to be working fine

TBH I've not tried it with indexed shifters.

If you want I'll strip it off and photograph it so you can see how it goes together and I have a couple of other shifter options I can try as well

Cheers

Ken
