The build came together quite nicely, having developed an impetus all of its own - as they tend to do... ;)

I was a little concerned about the brake cable running through the bare metal 'noodle' so I lifted the piece of PTFE tubing out of an old Avid V-brake noodle and discovered it was exactly the right size - you can just see it in the pic above...

...I nearly did a passing fair impression of Granny Grinders avatar the first time I applied the front brake in anger! :shock:

...not quite so effective, but arguably prettier - and at least the 3DV ano pivot bolts are a better match ;)

Does it ride as good as it looks?

One little thing that concerns me is the canti mounting bolts, are they aluminium?
