The build begins...2006 Dekerf

Thanks Ringo...I'm not going to weigh it as that will only start the how-can-I-make-it-lighter spiral. The tyres are heavy, they will go at some point and the Phil Wood rear hub is quite heavy, but that's staying :D
 
IIRC you also have a Dekerf branded hip flask and holder...

That's got to go on the bike and get displayed in the shop window... :D
 
How about a picture of this by the sea or somewhere scenic HB, I really rate the looks of this bike it is sublime!
 
Nice work Carl :cool:. This is my fave' Dekerf colour.

I think the carbon risers look good, they should stay. Not sure if some Avid black op's ultimate V's would look better than those xtr's.

And I might be going out on a limb here but, those hubs seam out of place to me, too heavy looking with those big flanges..

Still I'd be well chuffed if it were mine. As I'm sure you are...

Black Ops Ultimate levers and V's now fitted :cool: I like the hubs and they spin real nice but I understand they are not for everyone.
The more I ride this the more I like it.
