What is there to do on Arran?

I shall consult a guy from work from Arran who has kids, try and get the low down. You could mail the Arran MTB club too if you fancy a bit of biking, very welcoming folks. If your taking a bike take a pair of slicks and do a loop of the island, on a good day its a great ride. Lochranza is a nice bit but a week might be boring, the south(ish) of the island has a bit more going on, Whiting bay and Lamlash with a quick bus to Brodick. Plenty walking in the area too. Also if your wanting a ride let us know were not far away.....I'm looking at Arran just noo :)

Outdoor pursuits a-plenty - walking, climbing, birdwatching, fishing, cycling, castles, monuments, standing stones yadda yadda yadda :D

If the above and similar is your game then you shouldn't have any difficulty finding stuff to do.

However - if not, then the kids may struggle to be amused, there's not a lot of indoor type activities and the villages are pretty basic in terms of what they provide.
