1989 first year of production, no other info or picture

1990 Polished finish , 27.0 seatpost ~16.7" chainstay length (except 23" @16.9")

1991 Polished Finish, 29.2 seatpost ~16.9" chainstay length (no 23") -also the cable stops on headtube feature

1992 Etched Silver, 27.0 seatpost, 16.7" chainstay (no 23") 2" suspension geometry, head/seat geometry steeped and seat angle is now size specific. Can only assume this is rigid angles


Note that 1991 has nice picture, 1992 has tiny one also like the Altitude the pictures do not fit with the spec description so well ;)
 
I have no picture of a Titanium that I could say was a 1990 as opposed to 1991, but the differences between the 91 and the 92 are fairly self-evident.

I don't know whether the middle picture below shows a 1992 Ti Bolt or Titanium, and I can't make out the decal writing for certain. It certainly differs from the 1992 Titanium in the cable routing and the dropouts, and more obviously from the 1993 Ti Bolt. It has 93 decals and a wishbone seatstay.

Am I right in thinking that the Titanium was made in Rocky Mountain's own factory and the Ti Bolt was made by Titanium Sports Technologies not all that far away (although in a different country)?

I would say the middle was a 1992 Titanium, top tube routing is the same as the Altitude that year (are at least some)

The top one might well be, if similar to the Altitude, in that it's a late 1991 when some seem to not have head tube cable stops.

1993 was certainly the first year of the Ti-Bolt and their introduction of fastback stay back as the design.

It's all quite guesswork to be honest, maybe collecting serials might help.

If the catalogues where to go by, then 1991's would have downtube cable routing :s
 
Wow. Beautiful build. Lovely to see the pics and it all come together. My vote is to stay with the Syncros stuff, but go with a lower rise stem. Otherwise, amazing!
 
Nice! Syncros is a perfect choice for the Ti frame!

I have the exact fork / stem combo put aside for whenever I find a 19.5 Ti rocky =)
