thanks! its a sheldon magic ratio. 36/16 does me well and no chain slack 
i use a 9 speed sram chain as i have found these to be the best for smoothness and they take ages to stretch

yep im pretty chuffed with the set up, i will try with some gears once winter is out of the way and see how i get on with them but as im using it daily at the moment ill keep the ss
id recomend and if to anyone the finish of their frames/forks/paint finishes is superb

Cool, I would stick with the single speed also, I'm also surprised how versatile they are
