Hi,

Im currently in possession of a carbon frame which i believe dates from the 90s as it still has shifting bosses on the down tube!

I feel a hint of vitus and kestrel but i cannot tell!!!

Thanks for your input!

Don't think it's a Kestrel - too swoopy even for them.

Initially, I thought Corima Piuma but a Google search proved me wrong.

I suspect that it's one of the first generic carbon frames produced in the Far East around 2000 - the fork is pretty well identical to one I had a few years ago.

I may be wrong, but I have a faded memory of either peugeot or vitus having a carbon frame of that shape.

edit: I think I was wrong... the vitus ZX1 is similar, but not the same.

Didn't the ZX1 and its Peugeot cousin have a Vitus 992-style semi-integral headset?

I think they did, and I think they also had an integrated seatpost binder (with an allen key bolt on the side, in front of the seatpost), not an external one like this frame has.
