cheap upgrade from Suntour XCR fork ???

Just after a bit of advice as i've been out of the MTB scene for many years

I have just put my 2006 carrera Kracken back together with a few mild upgrades, hydraulic brakes etc and have noticed that the forks are past their best.

I am looking for something cheap to replace the Suntour XCR fork that it came with. Preperably something second hand and something that was factory fitted that people upgrade from so it will be nice and cheap

and ideas? pretty sure they have 100mm travel on the current ones

there is a set of tora's on here for £60 posted. nice forks for the cash.

If you dont mind possibly spending a couple of pounds more, you can pick up a decent set of Rock Shox SIDs for about that price on ebay.

the suntour xcr is a decent fork , i was suprised by a pair on an i-drive i parted out ,very direct feel ,no flex , the fork action was as good as
most other lowish end forks and a bit better than others

give them a sevice ,might be a cheap way forward
or buy some marzocchi mxc's
