worksop night rides

just thought i'd put this up.

me and a couple mates meet up every monday/wednesday nite for a bit of a thrash (towpath/fields/woods/bit of road) and a couple pint at the end.

we also meet up sunday mornings round 7.30am for a good 2-3hour ride, meeting at north notts college in worksop.

if anyone lives in the area wants to come along your more than welcome to join us.

Hi

Now as i have just moved to Doncaster, that is rather close and very tempting,

What sort of rides are we talking about, as i am rather unfit, and dont want to slow people down.

I did the Leigh hill ride as was down there at the time and coped well.

the nite rides average round the 10-12mile mark and consist of canal towpath, some fairly flat road with one bugger of a hill, path upside of a field.

we do this run either way so theres alway a pretty challenging uphill and some good downhill runs.

sundays are round the 20-40mile mark.
we ride either,

to sherwood pines, ride there, then ride back. (40ish miles)
to langold lake for the fun bomb holes and hils. (15ish miles)
along the canal as far as possible (25ish mile)

and any others people know of.
