cable discs... yes or no?

Thanks, that makes sense now, I'll have another look at the dropouts and see if it can be "fettled".
 
V brakes

I have never had a problem with v brakes, they will always shoot you over the bars if you have to, you can feather them, they are lighter tahn disc. Which begs the question why have disc if your not riding in mud all the time

This is a UK based forum, most users will ride in the mud all the time :LOL:
 
Cable discs are really OK :cool: I did the set up on one of these wee kids bikes with a no name brake on a solid disc.Very surprised when i took it for a quick check-ride,Nearly pitched me over the bars :LOL: :LOL:
