For god's sake don't buy a pink GT if you see it on ebay...

Yeah, I can sympathise. But lord me, you wouldn't want to buy it by mistake and be caught riding it would you?

(Have been trawling eBay to see if I can spot anything).

It's probably been thieved by an opportunist and sold for a tenner in the pub or swapped for an 8th of resin.
It'll turn up local I'd imagine, first place I'd look is out side of the bookies the nearest lidl and the dole on signing on day.
Hope it turns up in one peice.

Saw a classic on eBay yesterday - cheapish about town bike which still had the lock on as the seller had apparently, 'lost the key'.... hmmm.... :D

I used to work for London Underground and there were hundreds of abandoned bikes chained to every station.
One day we were asked by a group of kids to free an earyl Kona full suspension locked up as they'd lost the key.
I asked who's it was and they all just looked at each other.
An hour later we saw a member of station staff with bolt cutters and the bike was gone, When I asked about it he said it had been there for days and the local kids often asked for them!.
He really didn't grasp that it was still some ones property.
