It is one of those clever new ideas that actually do nothing and just appeal to the guy who thinks it is a wonderful design. Only consolation is if you buy one this will be a retro masterpiece in about 10-15 years as it will die a complete death in the marketplace

I like it too, As a design exercise I think it's new and works quite well.
