A very unusual tandem

The seller reckons this might be 60 years old - I think its more likely over 80 years old - well, the engine part, that is.

I've never seen one before and I'll probably never see one again.

Anyone heard of this engine.

I'd love something like this, but I reckon it'd cost a fair bit to get straight.

That is fantastic - could keep someone busy over the winter, then - what adventures could be had.

Presumably a motor bike licence would be needed? And an MOT, perhaps?

An MOT, tax & insurance would be needed. You could get by on a 'L' Plates with a standard driving licence - just like with a 50cc moped.

I'd love it ! . . . . . . . but my Missus wouldn't.
