1995-1996 Merlin XLM - a quick update, small changes

er yeah, so thanks to some ebay business, she isnt quite finished yet

just scored some RC31's...

I wanted this when HB offered it up for sale, but I had no funds..

Looks like a good job, so far.. :cool:
 
missing cos it's the wrong front mech being used as a chain guide while i source the right one

a dual pull front mech wont work on these.
 
Saw the merlin in the flesh today, Looks spot with the pace forks :cool:

Don't chop the RC31s :) especially if they're 1"

I have a Merlin Mountain with RC31s, single speed, it's one of my favourites. I swapped out th forks for some blue SIDs and they look really good wih a titanium stem ....

Love the M95x on yours. I didn't think silver components quite went on mine so ditched the mechs and wen with black brakes.

i've always thought silver was a bit meh against Ti. Black and dark grey provide a lovely "industrial" feel, and i have a flash of colour from sunset rims ro break it up.

i have a few thoughts on some things i may want to tweak in future, but this is largely it.

and dont worry, these are 1" 1/8 RC31's
