Anyone doing the Oktoberfest in Bristol this w/e?

Well that was bermtastic. Glad I fitted a set of semislicks as it was superquick on the man made tracks.
In the end I did 5 laps and called it a day, I think I put too much effort in on the first couple of laps as I was loving the corners and flow much, then blew up spectacularly and couldn't be bothered on the climbs.
I was on my red Pace which got a lot of love from other riders which was cool
I got Jeffy, aka Superstrong to come along as well and he managed to smash up the 4 hr solo class and take the win by a lap, despite his moaning that he hadn't ridden longer distances for a while..... :roll:

Yeah, bermtastic is definitely the word. If you didn't know how to ride berms before the race, you'd know now!
In the end I had to leave early due to family duties so I knocked in three quick laps for the team and then left (to take my daughter to see peppa pig!).
Nice course to ride but very few overtaking spots which got really frustrating on the tight twisty singletrack.
Great conditions, good atmosphere.
