My carbon RR bike.

I remember those bikes; and the original Vitus Frames that used the same principle for bonding and glueing the frame together!

Beautiful bike

Vitus Carbon

British Eagle handled the Vitus bikes from the factory in Newtown, the company was run by Barry Hoban and wife Helen..
Used to bring in Battaglins to in the early 80's..
after the Tour de France in 1984 ?? he had Sean Kellys TT bike there and borrowed it for my shop window for a month !!!

Re:

A few changes have come about.

Freewheel is now a Sachs Maillard 13-23,
bottom bracket has been replaced with an OMNI Race to improve the chain line,
period correct front mech and 'WOLBER' decals on the rims.

Delicious! That is one great looking bike.

I've got the same group, it's lovely stuff. Great build indeed.

Where did you source the Wolber decals from?
