Mid-2000's XC full suspension frame - suggestions?

I have a 2007 Stumpjumper FSR comp and can't praise it highly enough, you could pick one up for about £500 now I reckon and they genuinely don't need upgrading until stuff gets broken.

Before I bought this, I always poo pooed Specialized (I was a Kona man) but I'm now a convert.

2009 FSR XC in medium for under £500.

Even has amberwalls!

Is it a funny angle or are those forks totally goosed? Legs look like they're going off at different angles.

Anyway, check out the club roost in my signature. The frame is a simple single pivot, basically a rip off of a santa cruz superlight. Picked up the frame and shock on ebay for not much at all, about £60 I think.

I see what you are saying, but the other pics look ok, could just be a flaky crop from a wide angle or something.

Academic as it is sold!

Love that Club Roost, that is a real piece of history.

:)

if you get a cheap late 90s or early 2000 frame and add modern rear shock you wont tell the difference
