Help Identifying another MTB frame

Been offered this frame and the seller thinks its a Rocky Mountain but im not seeing that. Any help much appreciated.

That looks like a Rocky Mountain RM9, an absolute beast of a downhill bike from around 1999/2000. It's actually verging on being retro, stick an 8 inch travel fork in it and jump off a roof!

Its a beast of a frame and everything all over it has adjusters even for the rear discs. Have had a look at some pictures of the rocky mounatin rm9 and it just does not look the same. Think ill buy anyway as it looks too good to miss. any more info is appreciated.

My guess would be for a double saddle like Scott and a few others used:

Damn that scotts a nice bike. Never seen a seat like that. Wish this frame was the scott one.

It would enable the rider to shift his weight forwards or backwards during a downhill whilst remaining seated.

At least that was the theory. It's just one of those innovative ideas that never really worked but did produce a few interesting bikes.
