1990 IIRC, I had the elite version with the midnight sky paintwork & all DX stuff, loved it

It is a timberline on the floor - and I can't remember what I've done with that. We moved from Hampshire to Cheshire last July and my stuff is all over the place.
I don't actually know where the Fire Mountain and the Karakoram are right now, but I think the are in the garage somewhere under mountains of cardboard.

I had a metallic purple 18" Karakoram from the first year they made the all black LX groupset (1996?). Used it as my urban assault vehicle, just like a 26" BMX. Got stolen in Luton, UK in 2000, still miss it. Best mass-produced steel frame I ever owned!

Nice early Karakoram.
This is my K2 from around '89 (I think). With first Gen. Rapid fire LX and soon to be sporting some tasty RM20 rims.
