Hullo.

I've got a '98 Kilauea frame in that nasty mustard/orange colour. I know it's not the most retro of Konas but it's in need of some TLC.

I was thinking of a Kona colour from previous year. Maybe '94 Kilauea grey or the Kula gold of the same year. Would this be wrong? or should I go for a non Kona colour? :?

Also need repro decals & a company to do the respray.

Cheers for any thoughts & advice :)

Agree with Adam that whatever colour you want would suffice as it takes a pretty bad choice to ruin the lines of such a frame. However (and I'm a bit biased as I've got one) I don't think you can beat the '93 Kilauea scheme.

I think a more recent Kona would look great in the 93 scheme:

:) Cheers for the input guys, I do like the '93 scheme...
but white though... too much choice :?

How would I go about getting an exact colour match? Would I just contact Argos & say 'hi I'd like a '93 kilauea paint scheme' & they'd know what I was on about? & what colours to use?

Sorry for the numpty questions (this is all very new to me)

I'm gonna do my '93 Kilauea white (when I get round to it) and then I need to find some new cleats for white spd stillettos!
