DBR VERTEX TR 1995

I'll post some close ups of the frame soon.

I think you guys are correct in that the same frame was sold with different components and given a different name. I'm pretty sure the Vertex TA (yellow paint job) is the same frame as my TR.

I'm hoping I still have the DBR catalogue from 1995 in the loft, again will have a dig around and let you all know what I find.

I'm saying this as somebody who's got a 95 catalogue - I've posted pics from it in several threads.

No, Vertex TA is Easton aluminium.

Nice tidy tidy bike you've got there  , I built up a little 16" TR for a friend a while back.

Cool Steed

I have one of these, bought in 1996 used at the time. It's nowhere near as nice condition, but still has original forks, hubs (although pretty much shot now..!), brakes, front & rear mech's ..oh and seat tube- which has welded itself in place. I still use it regularly and will never let it go, it the most responsive lightweight bike I have ever ridden and apart from extreme downhill rocky terrain, outperforms my specialised enduro hands down. :D

Hi guys,

A heads up, I'm going to sell this bike as I need to make space. I thought I'd mention it here first before putting it in the for sale forum / ebay.

If you're seriously interested (UK only unless you're willing to pick up any international postage costs) then please PM.

Been using this again but now want a new MTB to race on. Is Ebay the best place to sell this DBR (in terms of getting the going rate for a 1997 mtb)?
