Hi just thought I would put up a couple of shots of my San Andreas.
Aint it great what you can build from ebay?

Very nice. Likewise I've always liked the look of the San Andreas - time has treated it well, and it carries off the modern stuff well.

Are those bar ends usable ?? If they were lowered to match the angle of the stem it would look much better IMHO ...

Thanks for all of your kind words. It was a good chuckle building it up from brown ebay parcels. Me posties happy now it's done!

I made an effort to put as many black components on it to contrast with the bare metal of the frame.
Will adjust the bar ends properly first job. ;) Can't move the bottle cage to its other position else me plums will get bashed the next time I have an off. ...ouch!

The budget wasn't too bad really. The only new bits on it are the wheels/tyres/tubes, headset, bars, bar ends, b/b, cassette and chain.
The frame and the rest of the bits were second hand from fleabay.
The Hope M4's were a bit of an indulgence I admit. And are a bit too new for the bike, but they are lovely. :D Couldn't resist them.
