80's Colnago Master before & after!

Lovely.
With the frame looking so good I would look for a full period campag groupset to finish it off.

I have been making some inquiries and have eventually found out that the company who did the work on my Colnago Master were Autostrada Engineering based in the Midlands

Tipo Hubs laced with Swiss DT spokes and Mavic sprint rims with tubular tyres
Suntour down tube levers
Charge leather saddle and handlebar tape
Cinelli bars and stem
Mavic chainset
Modolo levers
Things to do:
Fit wire style bottle cage
Change brake blocks to Campagnolo shoes and pads

That is simply stunning!
I still haven't made my mind up about brown bar tape, but its not my bike and it would be boring if everone did the same.
You have done a really nice job on that.

Lovely stuff, agree with the with"every did the same" observation, but why do the brake cables not go over the bars?
