Great big Singlespeed thread!

Taken the plunge

Just bought a Cheapish singlespeed steed form Konadad. I'm doing a charity ride along the Leeds - Liverpool canal and did a 30 mile stretch of it today, and single speed makes total sense.

That Ala Carte is lovely, I'd have that any day (although I'm not sure about the saddle) - it needs something nicer than a bolt-on type tensioner though ;).

I'm not sure if you're referring to the White salsa above or my red one, either way the 'bolt on' Tensioner is a Paul Components one...very nice it is too!

Saddle is marmite I guess, but I wanted to try a Brooks, and as it cost a small fortune I'll at least give it the benefit of the doubt ;)
