Stumpies seem to vary quite a lot. But that's a presonal fave so I'd be a bit bias. I'd guess around £150-200 any lower than that I'd be tempted to drive to Wellington and pick it up from you.

Wheel Valuations

I'm never sure how much wheels are worth but have 2 sets that I'd be appreciate a pointer on.
Set 1 - Mavic M7CD's on LX hubs from around 1990. I've serviced the hubs with new bearings and fitted a new freehub body.
Set 2 - Mavic M6 rims on Exage Mountain hubs. Hubs also serviced and freehub body is good.

hubbahubba!
How about my left testicle...?

Or about £6-700 maybe? Or am I being over-generous because I love it? Shame I don't have cash or space though, just exactly my size and shape ;)

Indian Fire Trail

Retro Marin IFT, circa 1992. Good condition but could do with fully stripping etc. Saddle's a bit shabby but all as standard, Deore XT components, hubs etc, Marin Lite stem etc, Marin Rockshock fork. Unused and unloved in the garage. Any estimations on value greatly appreciated.

I have a 1997 Marin Mount Vision frameset, size 17.5".

Its in great condition, not particulary abused, and comes with the following:

Manitou SX-R forks
Diacompe Headset
Marin seatpost
XT BB

The bike was a US import, bought from Chevin Cycles in January '98. The key difference between this and the UK bike is that the shock is a Noleen coil unit (great condition) plus the swingarm is orange.

The forks are not in great condition, fit for paperweights really as the bushings are worn and the elastomers somewhat degraded. BB and headset are lovely though.
