The descent of which Rob speaks is fine. If it's a bit slippy just follow my super skilled descending example.

At least you made the corner. I went straight on into those bushes just behind you.

Not my finest moment.

Should be there too.

Will bring along some swag, have stock of Endura kit, hoodies, mugs etc. If anyone wants anything in particular please let me know.

Ooooooooh. Tempted!!
Wish the hoodies were zip up ones. :-/

6 months since registering and this is my (drum roll....) 1000th post!

This may not end well. Or at least cheaply. :-D

I see that my almost compass like directional sense is getting it's usual level of respect (although how quickly Farmer forgets, I had to nurse him round HoNC one year and in the 2007 Peaks Ride I recall having to 'motivate' him away from a quivering lower lip).

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

 For HONC 07 - I owe you my life EdEdwards. You're my hero.

But I do feel we are becoming a little like the Lawnmower Man Ed.

"You realize, Dr. Edwards, that my riding intelligence has surpassed yours..."

There may be a chance for me again this year. No TT's now!

I'll join in for a RetroWalk DOWN the hills! The uphill bits are just tiring - the downhill are  Well, to me at any rate. I suppose you get more cautious the older you get.

So I am VERY cautious......................................

Now, which bike? Scott or Dynatech? Rigid or only just not rigid?

What Dynatech is it?
Suspension would be best!

It's an Odysey. I've ridden both around here in the past - and suffered on both of them! At least the minimum travel forks on the Dynatech take the sting out of bumps.
