Im guessing its either the really rare invisible explosif they produced back in 1990, or your photograph isnt showing.

edit: cancel that its showing now :)

I like the stem with the gold frame, looks cool!

Couple more shots = )

Think the Tires are next. LOL

That looks like a very nice bike in nice condition, I assume 1995? It has what is for me the perfect amount of purple bits, very nice - but any more (as it so often is) would be too much.

I was just about to say that I don't think the purple goes well with either the gold of the frame or the red of the Manitou EFCs.
Got to agree with Jerky on the stem though! That pewter colour looks ace with the gold. Tell your mate to get some pewter bits to match the stem & replace the purple! :p

And those tyres!......
:D

.....and also get rid of the blue bottle cage bolts.

But, if the ano can be replaced with a match on the chain ring bolts (nice touch) then go for that. If not, replace with black or plain alloy.

It must be a matter of taste.

I like the frame and the stem combo, but the rest doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.

I can't explain why but for me, newer stuff on an older bike can look ok, but older stuff on a newer bike? mmm!
