My found by accident Specialized Hard Rock 1991 (minter)

Was looking for something entirely different in some old sheds and spotted this, I know there pretty common but this is in mint condition. a severe clean, repack of all bearings and a thorough service including new grips & tyres is all that I've done. otherwise this thing is completely original bar the mud guards, bear in mind Total cost has been less than £40...

Yes well chuffed with it, effectively been in dry & dark storage for over 12 years and barely ridden before that.

Tried the tyres on road last Thursday and just got back from Grafham Water (off road) today, the tyres handle road very well and dry off road very well too. one hairy moment during a sharp direction change on very loose gravel & I should imagine they are not up to much on wet /muddy off road surfaces. having said that I purchased the tyres with a view to 85% on road with some light trail hard pack use thrown in for which they are a perfect combination

Had the same tyres on my 1997 Specialized Ground control a1 aim pro when I first got it they are great especially on road but can loose grip off road especially on tree roots

They sound perfect for what I am aiming to use them for too cheers for the info chaps
