1990 Cinder Cone - **FINISHED** 24/09/11

Well I know it is a bit of a bog standard frame to put a NOS XC PRO groupset on, but I kinda like it, and it is almost finished. Just waiting for the "Dart" front tyre from the US to arrive, then it is cable-up time and done.

Looks so unfinished without 2 tyres on :roll:

Im excited to see it finished...

Pottering about, changed the SCOTT back plate thing on the saddle to the R1 that was on the original that came with the bike. Nice shiny new Suntour chainset dust caps turned up today (no not the horrendously expensive ones form Pbikes).

Just waiting for the white Christophe toe straps, and then it will be done.

Finally finished, those pesky toestraps finally turned up. Bar having a NOS pair of amberwall Maximum/Reaction tyres, I don't think I am going to complain.
A massive thanks to Sinnerman for giving me an almost perfect replica (I didn't want to take another splatter Kona one out of circulation)
finish to my 1990 frame & forks. From blasting/prepping/splatting, his work was just the best. Thanks also to B/Burning for the BB, and a couple of American R/bikers for getting me the headset & the chain over here. Anyway, spec list & pics below.

p.s - as a pointer, my mum thinks it is the nicest one I have
