Yes, some people don't use them but I think they look quite neat. I might try to fit them a little differently when I swap tyres (with an o ring and some Mavic parts), I think they may look a bit neater / more standard, kind of along the lines of these Mavic UST’s on the Airborne :

Woohoo! Finished ! Well done. Looks the dogs danglies. Might it experience just a little bit of bridleway ? It'd ce cool to see it with Specialized Crossroads or Hardpack tyres !
