Hi, I'd like to date my Specialized Stumpjumper. Its a Stumpjumper Sport XT and I believe that its 1984 or earlier. Frame number FS442805.
Its pretty close to original, with I believe the only non-original parts being the front wheel, rear mech, freewheel and chain, tyres and saddle.
Used pretty much daily as a commuter but well maintained and in pretty good nick for a 20+ year old bike.
Anyone know anything about Specialized frame numbers?
