I got this from Gumtree for £15. It was covered in thick greasy grime. The headset was loose. The front mech was so gummed up it didn't move. The rear mech was wound up with fishing line. Both tyres were flat and the wheels were black instead of alu. The black bars were rusty and it had crap mismatched shifters.
After a few hour work and some bits from the parts box it's back on the road. It's amazingly comfortable and quick. Will make a nice winter commuter or student bike. Will be going back on Gumtree later this week.

Much better fit for those wheels, looks great- just out of interest, what are you thinking of selling it for?

Looks great with the blue wheels though
Mind you the beat up Carrera I've been given by TK is a 19" but it seems OK so far but if it doesn't work it cost nowt !
