It starts again... Pace RC104 this time

Currently my favourite bike anywhere on the planet...you are a lucky man!

Probably would have gone for the blue one myself!!!

I like this  . I also considered trading my RC300 for one of these before I found a 300 in my size....

I like the forks too. Very under rated from what I remember of the reviews, but I'd be going for some RC40's if it were mine.

Looking forward to hearing how it rides :D

You boys and your Pace forks on Pace bike blah blah blah
I've never conformed to the norm!
I held back ages ago when my F8 went to not get one, and they've always been on my radar. I've not ridden yet but aesthetics... I'm super chuffed.
All i need to complete is a rear mech and some frame protector patches.
Out of interest... who uses Sram XO? Which ones are compatible with the rest of my 9spd Shimano set up?
Ideally i'd like a Thomson 30.0 silver post, but they are like rocking horse poo. The Maverick forks are belters. I hope they are equal to the Fox i've had before. Visually i think they are awesome!
Oh i've had a play with the drop outs. :D

Very very nice frame. You will like the maverick forks, only critique is the the cable guide on the fork needs to be higher up.

It's a bit of a playbike so :) maybe a shorter stem??

Be keen for the first ride report ...

:D

Ive been toying with getting a shorter stem. I've always ridden a more race XC set up (stretched out, bum up) so I'm very new to longer travel forks, slack head tubes and short stems. I'm really eager to get out on her but works dictating that this could be over a week away :?
What size stem do you think would suit best? I've been looking at 50/60mm... With a tendency to go towards the longer, shorter stem.

Eh?

Re. SRAM X0 - sorry but none of except the front mech (x9) will work on your setup due to cable pull ratio.

Still think it would be nicer with DT XMC130s! (They're not Pace forks, not really...)

So... how's it ride?
