Another go at a retro/modern - this time with quill stem and down tube shifters! A fast commuter...

Frame is a bit of mutton dressed as lamb - Old Graham Weigh 531 with campag dropouts, resprayed black with pearl white bands, a Colnago chromed fork and few inappropriate decals from the internet.

Fast commuter indeed! Very nice, wouldn't call a Graham Weigh 531 mutton exactly!

What is the chainstay protector, one of those neoprene things? I'm looking for one for my forthcoming respray job.

yes woven material with a bit of velcro along the long edge - it doesn't stick to the frame just wraps around the stay. Seems to do the job and not too much of a mountain bike look I think...
