Raleigh DHO 2000, my new build project, nearly finished....

Hi all.
Due to various things its taken a while to get the bike this far but am happy taking my time with it. I can put more pics up if any one wishes, and i'll pop a pic up of it when i've got her working.
Any comments or opinions and such are welcome.

Cheers for the comments all. I know its not a full retro build but over the next few years it will hopefully evolve closer to what it was once.
Anyway, yeah cyfa2809 the bb does look a tab high, but in teh bikes defence the angle of teh pic makes it look higher than it is, as well, the chainset is only 170mm not 175mm so that may look the area look smaller, thus higher, but i suppose it is a tad high (i think i measured it at 14.5inches) but am gona run the suspension rather soft so hopefully it will sag down in its travel when riding. Either way I suppose that was the style back then.
Either way I cant wait to get her out on the trails.

yeah that makes sense, i think my commuter is 13.5 or so
so not too bad
but are you sure the frame is meant for that much travel?
head angle looks waaay slack even by my standards

or is thi a mock build?

May be slightly too much travel but the chainstays dont look to bad....they are near paralell with the ground.....I say RIDE ON

Hi all.
I haven't updated this for some time due to various factors (mental farts etc and teh fact I havent really had any money for parts). Anyways, I had it in the stand the other day and noticed a wee amount of play in the pivot just above the bb. Now its had new bearings (many thanks to the kind folk at Raleigh for them) so I know they are good. Am around 99.99% sure I put her back together correct (I do have some skills with a wench).
So, does any one know a thing about the pivot assembly or is able to point me in the right direction as I feel this is a task not even duck tape can amend.
Anyways am hopeing to have her finished within a month now (I just have to find a DT axle for the hugi hub as its a 10mm bolt on) so pic's will of course will follow.

Also, quick question two, would putting yellow or red gear cable housing on her look a tad cheesy?

Safe trails.

J
