1st Project - Klein Attitude

Getting there now, so far going well.

Most the parts fitted now, although on the look out for a seat post & rims and tyres.
Just need to tighten the crank, fit chain, and install gear/break cables, and ermm i think it will be ready to ride!! :)

All pictures you see dont do the Klein Attitude any justice and until you actually see one in the flesh!!!.. Blooming amazing.
(oh and the seat has since been lowered alot! i am not 7ft tall wink: )

Looks really nice... Have you got any updated pictures?

Sorry, didnt realize you had posted, was just reading old Klein threads.

To be honest, i havent done much more to this bike as the bits I now want are so rare:

Mavic M231CD rims,
Campag Brake levers - 2 finger grey.
Bullseye / Cooks cranks
Syncros Seat post

Them parts would complete this build for me, it takes for ever, well me anyway.

These are the most recent pics i took.

I do have Mavic 231CD's on this bike in the picture, but they are laced up to XT hubs. They have a flat spot on them, and have been told not to undo them. I have Bullseye hubs waiting to be built and was going to fit them to these.

Does anyone know if a flat spot in a rim can be sorted? and also if its ok to undo spokes to fit to my Bullseye hubs? (of this age)

Thanks

That's very nice indeed, good job. Love the set up

Always wanted to try one of these myself.

..Campag Brake levers - 2 finger grey..

I have a complete Campagnolo brakeset [levers, hangers & cantis] for sale if you're interested? I believe them to be Euclid.. PM me if interested :)

Oh, and love the KLEIN by the way

Re:

Bumping this thread from 2012 with my completed build.

Here is a couple of pics of it recently, changes have been:

Red / White /Blue Bullseye hubs
Cooks Cranks
Syncros seat post
NOS Mavic M231 CD's
Campag Brake levers
XT Thumbies
Ringle quick release
Tioga Mud Dawgs

This complete the build 100%, and I am delighted to say I have ridden it at a trail centre, ok with my kids and missus so not hard core, but its more than a wall hanger which I never thought I would ride this.

Here are the pics:

When I saw the early posts I was liking the black but when I saw the dolomite finished I know why you had it done...it really is THE Klein colourway!

Probably my all time favourite bike, great to see this :)
