Pedal change to Flats

I did think about the shimano DX's as they take a spd cleat, maybe next time :D the 5:10's have come and are incredibly grippy on the V8's im running

The DX shoes I have are flats only. 5.10's are prob more grippy but they feel to bulky for my liking. :)

i've just switched back to spds for some of my bikes recently
starting to appreciate them again

Never ever used SPDs, seen too many injured riders because of them, never had the need for them.

Seems to be a certain unjustified (in my eyes) snobbery against flats/platforms but I prefer them;

I'm too bandy for Spuds, having ridden horses since I was eleven years old, and they b*gger my knees! Though I have recently bought some pedal extenders to adjust the Q-factor of my Ritchey's and make it the same as my DMR V12's/Wellgo Mag's etc...

Been out a few times on them now and I must say they are growing on me, a decent pair of shoes had made allot of difference, think I will run with the flats on my full sus, and Spuds on my reto's
Just need to learn jumping again with flats at speed

:D
