Rear mech hanger is bent, Headset is incomplete, no rear brake but there's an A2Z mount on there. That'll have to do for now.

Gold external BB removed, Ugly AC seatpost removed
Bag of spare parts opened: 2 more bits to the headset, but still incomplete
Full bearing kit from BETD with receipt and some bushings. Bonus.

The website that's got the 317's has D521 aswell, but that's a rim brake wheel isn't it? Got no V mounts on my frame. =( Might have another look through the website though and see if they have 321.

The BB is a Raceface external and it's gold. Will be selling that.

Headset is hope. Seems to be missing something from the top. Don't think it's a normal star nut + stem cap type. Looks like it needs a BIG bolt and something to go inside the steerer tube.
Ideas?

Mavic D521 has a braking surface which is why I thought rim brake. What do you reckon?

Got the top of the headset, just need that silver bolt and whatever goes inside the steerer. Does this model headset have a name? "Hope headset" on Google is a bit vague!

Yeah i dont think that braking surface is wide enough for a pad

I know the bit you mean, long rod with a plate that sits under the fork crown/steerer tube but I can't find it while googling? The diagram doesn't really show it either..

I'd like to know where he got them frame stickers, you have any idea?
I'm trying as hard as I can to source decals for the boxxers but even copies of period ones are impossible to find.

I'm getting a bit scared on powder coat, there is a lot of talk about ruining the heat treated frame and I can't decide whats true or not.
My local guy is cheap and is super confident but thats my problem with him, no matter what I say, he pretty much says 'yea, we can do that, easy'.

The outers are all there, it's just the gumf that goes inside the steerer I need. And the top bolt.

Might be easier just to flog the headset for parts and buy another.
I'm not fussed about Hope. Would be happy with an FSA Pig.
