nice looking bikes eck and looking good jimi

finished the gazelle today- now got a new stem, tidy bar and suntour levers. Now with nothing to do but polish things :?

jimi would you consider drilling a hole in the stem to route the front brake cable? would be a very neat solution as a fork mounted hanger looks gash.

Thats an idea

, would maybe need to weld a small pipe to the top though to hold/guide the outer, certainly possible though.

Gazelle is looking great BTW

Jimi I'm certain you could use a hanger that clamps to the stem steerer. In fact it disnae even really need to clamp.

Now that you mention it, hole causes stem to fracture suddenly at high speed, thrown over the bars, smash half my face off on a gnarly, rocky track

Will look into the clamp on the steerer type.

Or has anyone got one spare ?

, that's what i had in mind when i mentioned a hanger to bolt to the forks, just did'nt know what it was called.

I'll get one ordered.
