'93 Kilauea in ss guise as completed this last week. An off-on project of some three years maturation!

I bought her as a f&f with incomplete headset, both the mechs and canti brakes fitted. Basically she is my 'shopping/pub/gym' bike, my antidote to using a car around the small town I live in.

Plan for the future, which is more of an idle dream really, is to refurb the frame with a braze on for V's, put rack and guard eyelets on the rear drop outs, ream the seat tube for a 27.2 post (27.0 at present), replace the rare as hens teeth headset with a Chris King, repaint in the original colours, and over time bling her up with trick hubs and wheels, and make her a Shimano free zone. Thus rendering her useless as a shopping bike as I'll be too scared to leave her anywhere
