Have Apollo finally made a bike you can do something with?

Not a million miles away from an LTS, early FSR or a Sintesi it has to be said...

{Apollo Vendetta}(Yes but I know an Apollo is still an Apollo.... polish a turd 'n all...)

Another custom Apollo here

http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopi ... lo&start=0

Not a bad effort considering the start point is a BSO

I'd not spend/waste (delete as appropriate) my cash seeing if you could polish a turd/BSO (delete as appropriate) though as the money spent on doing it up could have bought a half decent bike in the first place.

I like it.

If you have the bits already excluding frame then why not?

Reading the Bike radar thread it says that Merida made this style of bike for Apollo amongst others.

I know any manufacturer can bodge a frame together but .......

Will be keeping an eye one for one now

i have noticed apollo have upped their game a bit this year
still bolt on rear wheels though

and still no match for the carrera's
getting there though, slowly
tourney mechs are **** but work better than just shimano ones or shimano 'sis'

If its cheap enough and you have room/parts/can be bothered as an experiment?

Dont expect it to be light though.

heres my one, not as good as the others, but had deore lx/deore parts, fox float rear shock, mavic xm117 rims on deore hubs, specilaized bar and stem,
