GT EDGE CX

Liking those a HUGE amount

I'm on the lookout for a cross bike for the winter, not a hope of finding one of those in the local small ads I suppose :?

Will :)

Lfo, the stem on your Edge CX is beautiful.
May I ask what it is?

That's a GT Flip Flop III chromoly 1" threadless stem with internal clamp circa 1993 in a brushed finish that's clear coated. The stem actually precedes the bike by a number of years.

Surely more tyre clearance also?

I would hope so!

I'm starting to develop a bit of a crush on nice CX bikes, having just built my first.

They didn't really make sense to me for a long time but I seem to have grown an 'understanding' now.

Worrying, because it can only lead to yet another way of spending my money.

A short update on this, i had a lot of luck and was able to sell the old GT CX frame and buy a "new one" which fits me much better. Ok the build isn't time correct but who cares.
