We are now taking nominations for the July 2011 road Bike of The Month contest. Hoping for plenty of entries since everyone will have TdF fever :D

Rules in the FAQ here.

Get polishing and get those entries in

This month winner will take a Retrobike hat, runners up some stickers :D

Ok, given it's TDF time, I will start with my TVT Lemond, as ridden by Ronen Pensec in the 1990 Tour De France...Oh, he was wearing the yellow jersey at the time...

Gosh. That's a start!

I'd been busily collating parts to try and get something built for this month. Think I'll let it slide a little given the three already nominated

OK, why not send in another Chris Chance for this month! Here is a 1995-1997 (not sure) Chris Chance in "Matt's paint job". Full Campy Athena gruppo, Mavic reflex rims, Veloflex open tubulars and a matching Flite sofa. 3T Pro Chrome TIG welded stem and 3T Forma handlebars. Note the coloured alloy nipples!

Can we keep the entries to two photos each as per rule 8? When you have more photos, it would be great to see them in a dedicated separate thread with a title that specifies the exact bike. You could also link your separate thread in your post here.

Shouldn't there be non-matching coloured pedals on that Chris Chance?
Or is it just me? Very nice bike though, but my vote goes to the Lemond so far.

@rienster: definitely! If I can find a pair of red Keo Max's I might take them ;-) Only problem is to sell the other non-matching pair.... Anyone else with a Chris Chance in Matt's paint job around?
