Looks great mate.

Lots of seatpost out there though...

Would you not of done better with a bigger frame?

It's not as bad as it looks when you're on it, but thats the thing with certain retro bikes, the opportunity may never arrise to own one in exactly the right size and to be fair its only a bit out seat tube wise and the rest is near as damn it.

I like it more and more by the minute, it does help thought that it hasn't been completely restored, the scrapes it has make me feel better about using it and really enjoying it.

these are cracking bikes, wouldnt mind one myself. makes a change seeing a non loud coloured one!

Very nice clean build
What stem and post made it a full Suntour build?

It would need a Suntour post for that. But it wouldn't be longer enough as only 300 long. That post looks longer.

Suntour didn't make stems?

My current project will be all Suntour, hench my question.
I thought Sakae was part of Suntour, so expected the stem and post to be Sakae.

 correct. forgot that company

Their are plenty Suntour XC Pro posts on ebay USA most NOS.

Yep Tintin's right they did make posts but only maxing out at about 300mm, however there is a suntour stem that came with this bike but it did suffer from alot of flex and was probably twice the weight of the salsa.
