And today I did......

I put a funky BMX one on the Rockhopper - much better than the canti at the front, and since I can't setup brakes to save myself, I must have just got lucky - was very pleasantly surprised.
 
My U-brakes an old Dia-Compe BMX item and it does work bloody well but it was a bugger to set up. Bike originally came with a Roller-Cam brake but they're rare and not cheap so I persevere with the U-brake.

Thankfully on here does not cost me a fortune as I operate at near the skip end of old bikes and believe getting it rideable and riding it is more important than restoration. Consequently there is little in my collection worthy of a photo. Anything photographed will be taken by others who thought it worthy but not by me ;)
 
today I snagged a £90 helmet on the bay for £12 and another set of middleburn cranks & rings for a rather nice price too- happy as Larry.
 
well today i refitted the freshly painted forks to the kona :D
